There are two types of libraries:
Core library: Core library means JAVA Development Kit (JDK).
Optional Library: Optional Libraries means Programmer defined Libraries.
The Core Libraries must be present in every implementation of JAVA.
JDK version 1.2 has 12 core libraries with a total of 1391 classes. Every library has different classes, and every class has different functions.
